The program’s overall objective is to ensure that the most vulnerable in Jordan are economically empowered within an enhanced decent work environment corresponding to the Global Objective to improve income-generating opportunities and access to decent jobs for refugees and their hosts. This program will support social enterprises and cooperatives focused on driving decent work and economic opportunity for refugees and vulnerable Jordanians in Amman, Irbid and Mafraq, contributing to economic growth by stimulating job creation, promoting innovation, and driving sustainable development through their dual focus on social impact and financial viability while creating income-generating opportunities.
