Overview

In accordance with the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, the King Abdullah II Fund for Development was established under Law No.,13,of 2001 with the aim of promoting sustainable development in the country. The Fund seeks, in partnership with the public and private sectors, to implement development projects and initiatives, particularly in areas suffering from poverty and unemployment. As part of its ongoing efforts to optimize the utilization of human resources, the Fund provides training and professional support opportunities for Jordanian youth, in line with His Majesty’s directives to activate the foundations of citizenship and ensure that the nation’s sons and daughters contribute to advancing the goals of comprehensive sustainable development in the Kingdom.
