AICS inaugurated its headquarters in Jordan in July 2016 , with the aim of implementing international cooperation initiatives aimed at improving the living conditions of the local and hosted population, promoting sustainable development, strengthening democratic institutions and the rule of law, as well as support post-conflict stabilization with particular attention paid to the Syrian crisis .
