The Greater Jerash Municipality, one of the municipalities of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, sits 40 km north of the capital, Amman. Classified as a first-class municipality and the center of the governorate’s qasaba, it’s neighbored within the governorate by second and third-class municipalities: Naseem to the north, Al-Ma’arid to the west, and Burma and Bab Amman to the south.
