Orange Social Venture Prize (OSVP) 2026 – Applications Now Open

The Orange Social Venture Prize in Africa and the Middle East (OSVP) 2026 is now open for applications, supporting young entrepreneurs who are leveraging technology to address social and environmental challenges.

Since its launch in 2011, OSVP has recognized and supported innovative startups across the region, helping them scale their impact and grow sustainably.

About the Program

OSVP is more than a competition—it is a platform that brings together startups, partners, and ecosystem actors to support high-potential ventures in accelerating their growth.

The 2026 edition places a strong emphasis on solutions using:

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Data-driven technologies
  • Cybersecurity
  • Digital innovation for social and environmental impact

Who Can Apply

The program is open to:

  • Young entrepreneurs, founders, or co-founders
  • Startups operating for less than 5 years
  • Ventures based in one of the participating countries in Africa and the Middle East
  • Teams developing innovative, tech-enabled solutions addressing real community needs

👉 Women founders are strongly encouraged to apply and are eligible for the dedicated Women’s Prize.

Selection Process

The competition takes place in two stages:

  1. National Selection: Projects are evaluated at the country level
  2. International Stage: National winners compete at the regional level

Awards & Prizes

Winners will receive:

  • 🥇 €25,000 – First Place
  • 🥈 €15,000 – Second Place
  • 🥉 €10,000 – Third Place
  • 👩 €20,000 – Women’s Prize
